After three months of working and reworking this is almost… done.
The only thing that remains is finishing the sides/edges and cleaning up several lines… then to let it completely dry. Enjoying the transformation of the paint as it slowly drys, claiming its space in the world.
This process taught me many things about painting and about myself. One cannot expect to look in a mirror for months painting and not be forced to constantly question what they see and feel.
